Want Friends – Simply Reach Out!
Can you guess which is the most precious asset on earth? No its not oil. Not gold either. It’s a human. You know I am right. We as humans are the most important asset God put on earth.
Being a loner myself, I have felt this fact more than many people around. Despite having done well in my online business and having made reasonable amount of wealth, my introvertish nature somehow never allowed me to have a large circle of friends. But if I ever try to analyze which activity has given me maximum pleasure – perhaps not a drive on my favorite car, not even a dinner in a costly restaurant. The memories that I cherish the most are the light and easy conversations that I have shared over a coffee table with my friends. These are the moments that have given me maximum pleasure.
You may feel that I am exaggerating. With the world population touching billions, it feels that the world is exploding and humans themselves appear to be the most surplus commodity. But ask any person like me who has had less that a desired level of company, and you would discover how precious humans are.
Christian Dating – Meet Christian Singles Online at eharmony
As the world is getting more and more modern and urban, we are losing out on occasions to meet each other. Platforms like computers, multi-channel television and high-end gaming have provided even more reasons to people to stay constrained within their homes. People can almost spend a lifetime indulging in individual luxuries such as mentioned above. I feel they are losing out. Take my word for it. Every single person that I talk to gives me a new insight, a new wisdom. God has not only made us different in terms of our faces and figures, but also in our intellects. Many times, you can find more enlightenment by talking to some gifted individuals around you as compared to reading a best seller. This is of course depending upon your discretion on selecting the person. You surely cannot expect to learn something good by speaking to a drunkard in a bar.
The Golden Rule is to reach out. Just don’t spend your holidays and weekends sleeping or being a couch potato. Developing social contacts can help you in more ways than you can imagine. Being with friends is a great stress buster. Socially successful people also do very well in their professional areas.
But proceed with caution. No matter how precious humans are, unfortunately there is a significant section of the world populace is totally devoid of any sense of ethics or morality. And such people are also doing the rounds across coffee cars, clubs and restaurants. So while you make efforts to reach out, use a lot of common sense and also trust you intuition. All the best!
